A task in detail
“Details” opens the description. With “Link” you attach chapters, characters, places and compendium entries, and one click on a linked chapter opens it in the editor.
Feature 07
Writing a novel leaves plenty of things that still need doing. Tasks keep track of them, right inside the project.
You create a task with one sentence and add a description if you need one. Linked to chapters, characters, places or compendium entries, you know later exactly what it refers to; one click on a linked chapter opens it in the editor. Finished tasks move into a section of their own.
You reach your tasks from the chapter list and from an icon at the top of the editor that shows the number of open tasks.
The project overview helps you keep order too: every project can get a color and an icon. From the project card’s menu you duplicate a project including images and attachments, for example for a new draft, or move finished projects into the archive, where you can still open them.
